The Bertram 50 is an iconic in the sportfishing circles and with handsome lines, solid construction and demonstrated seaworthiness, this model functions as a tournament work horse while featuring a spacious and well laid out interior for cruising and entertaining. Built on a rugged "Deep V" hull and wide beam which give her superb sea-keeping ability she offers as well the luxury and comfort of a cruising yacht .
Our Bertram '50 MY LILY is a perfect yacht both
for fishing and cruising and is our primary vessel both for our day and live aboard trips around Phuket as well as for our yearly Andaman Islands Expedition.
We have chosen this vessel for the exceptional level of comfort it provides, whilst also providing one of the best platforms imaginable for experiencing the extreme action the Andaman Sea has to offer.
This is a practical, livable sportsfisher. This vessel in fact offers a comfortable air conditioned dining and sleeping accommodation.
Three cabins layout features a double master cabin forward including ensuite, a double guest cabin to port including ensuite (serving double duty) and a guest cabin to port designed with over/under twin berths. She has good electronics and many extras including bow thruster, fwd facing sonar, 5kw backup genset, trim tabs, ice and water makers etc.
Undoubtedly, one of the most striking feature is the aft cockpit window which together with the port and starboard windows provides breathtaking views of the surrounding waters and allows for an incredible amount of natural light to shine through the saloon. The ambiance created from these windows and the open salon layout provides a unique experience for entertaining on the open water and exquisite views of the sea as well as of the fishing action.
The spacious teak cockpit, accessible from saloon or through transom door, it is fully fitted with heavvy duty fighting chair, large console with freezer, storage locker, sink and worktop: the area has proven to be incredibly multifunctional, being possible to alternate the fighting chair with a removable dining table while it opens to a swim platform. The large foredeck makes it ideal for sun bathing or as a fishing platform (i.e. for popping), while the upper bridge deck boosts an additional U-shaped covered outdoor seating and a fully equipped helm station with upholstered double sitting.
